Dr. Lin completed his Bachelor of Arts in Biology with Honors, Cum Laude from Northwestern University.  He subsequently obtained his medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.  After working to help shape health care delivery while serving as a healthcare management consultant with McKinsey and Company, Dr. Lin returned to clinical practice at the Columbia University/ New York Presbyterian Hospital for his internship and Yale University for his ophthalmology residency.  He then moved to Southern California where he completed the UCLA orbital- facial plastic, cosmetic, and reconstructive surgery fellowship.  Dr. Lin has a teaching appointment and hospital privileges at the UCLA Jules Stein Eye Institute, UCLA- Ronald Reagan Hospital, and the UCLA-Harbor Hospitals.  He is a member of the American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, American College of Surgeons, American Academy of Ophthalmology, Los Angeles Society of Ophthalmology, and the California Academy of Eye Physicians and Surgeons.
